We all have witnessed greatness this year from the Golden State Warriors. Everyone looks towards Stephen Curry when it comes to crunch time shots. He’s the face of the Warriors, of course, and is a legitimate contender for this year’s league MVP. However, who contributes a big role in keeping the Warriors winning percentage fueled up despite good or bad shooting nights from Curry? The answer is straight forward, Klay Thompson.
Making his first All-Star debut, Klay has established himself as amongst one of the most premier shooting guards in the league as of today. His ability to shoot and drive, as well as guard the elite players in the league has given him a spot to become an All-Star. His significance is only getting better, as each year his scoring average is drastically increasing, and as of this year, has recorded an NBA record of scoring 37 points in one quarter.
Greatness is not a one day process, it’s an every day thing. Thompson’s growth in the league is starting to make a big impact in the NBA, as he’s starting to becoming a dangerous threat to teams as the season progresses on. Even more, his duo alongside Curry is on a rise, and is starting to become impossible to stop. Thompson’s future career will only be better than it is now, and the whole Warriors franchise will see success in their eyes before they know it.
