Trey Burke is a sophomore in college who played as point guard for the Michigan Wolverines until he recently declared for the NBA Draft. He was recognized as “National Player of the Year” during his sophomore year in college. Also, before coming to college, in high school, he was recognized as “Mr.Basketball” for Ohio. His game, in fact, is like NBA moves; shooting far NBA threes that no one is accustomed to in the NCAA.
Without question, Trey Burke is one of the top ten prospects in the 2013 NBA Draft. His progress yet continues to grow and when he’s in the NBA, he should already be looking forward to winning the rookie of the year award as a sophomore from college. Burke does have people that he looked up to in the NBA, such as Jared Sullinger from the Celtics, who was his buddy in high school.
Although Michigan did lose the Final Four, they were at least fortunate enough to get there because of Trey Burke’s heroics in the elite 8 game against Kansas, who could have won. Last but not least, Trey Burke is a growing player who will soon (in my opinion) become the future of basketball, if not, an inspirational player.
