It’s been 3 years since I’ve been to India, and right now, I’m typing this blog in India.
I left California on June 5, and arrived in India on June 7. The flight took a total of 18 hours and it was really boring. In the first flight, it took one hour, so I played on my phone, drank some soft drinks, and ate some peanuts.
But on my second flight, it took 10 hours! So I stayed awake, doing nothing for 3 hours, and spent the rest eating and talking and sleeping. But what happened on this flight was that my sister purposely spilled orange juice on me and I ended up smelling really weird, so I felt really uncomfortable throughout the rest of the journey.
Next came the last flight that took 8 hours. I was smelling weird, and I was dead sleepy. But the funny thing was, in this flight, there were T.V’s right in front of each seat, and I was dead sleepy! So right when we got on board, I fell asleep and woke up 3 hours before the plane could land. So I watched a movie that took about 2 hours and 30 minutes. During the movie, I got refreshments, food, and a nice warm blanket. After I was done watching the movie, we were landing at India.
We picked up our luggage and headed outside and found my relatives waiting for me, my mom and sister. Speaking of luggage, my back was paining because I was carrying a 5 pound laptop backpack with 2 laptops in it.
When the car came, I threw the backpack in the car, got inside the car, and told myself to enjoy life in India. And that’s what I’m exactly doing right now. 🙂
