Kevin Durant- “A Star of Oklahoma”

Of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Wayne Durant is among the best basketball players in the world. He was born on September 29, 1988. Kevin Durant was drafted to the Seattle Super Sonics in 2007. But since the team was shutting down, Durant, went to the Oklahoma City Thunder at 2008. Kevin Durant is averaging around 27.7 points per game. His highest career scoring game was against the Denver Nuggets on February 19, 2012 were Durant scored a career high 51 points.

Kevin Durant signed an endorsement with Nike in 2007 when he first entered the NBA. Durant has his own signature made shoes such as the KD35 which many people have bought throughout the past few months. Durant continues to have more shoes made after him. Kevin was on a Nike commercial to advertize the Nike Air Mag.

When Durant was young, he used to play in AAU with former NBA players such as Michael Beasley and Drew Gooden. In fact he even won a few championships with his team (PG Jaguars). The real reason why Durant chose his number (#35) is because of his old AAU Coach who died at the age of 35 when he got murdered.

At 6 feet 9 inches and 235 pounds, Durant continues to hold the Thunder in the first place record in the Western Conference Division. With the help of his teammates such as James Harden and Russel Westbrook, Durant’s chances of scoring increase. If Kevin Durant keeps the good work up, he can be one of the best all time NBA players in the world.
