Michael Jeffery Jordan was born on February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn New York. When Michael was a toddler, his family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. The High School that he attended was called Emsley A. Laney High School. He played baseball, football, and basketball where he improved his athletic career. When Michael averaged 29.9 points per game, in High School, Many people were amazed. In 1981, Michael earned a scholarship to the University of North Carolina.
On Michael’s first year of pro, his team finished 38-44 but lost in the first round of the playoffs. But in the second season, he had a leg injury which enabled him to play for 64 games. But his team still managed to get in the playoffs. When Michael returned into the playoffs, he put on an incredible performance of a 63 point playoff game against the Boston Celtics. But his team once again lost the first round. As years passed on, Michael won an MVP award and was considered the Most Defensive Player of the Year.
Throughout Michael’s career, he has won six NBA championships and has also won 15 MVPs throughout his career. Right now, Michael is a business man and also owns the Charlotte Bobcats.
